Elementary Visitor Days. 5th - 8th grade girls enrolled in elementary schools are welcome to come and "spend the day" any day we are in session. Please call 288.7626 x129 to set up your "spend the day".
November 11, 2013
Application cards will be made available to Catholic elementary schools, Catholic high schools, and online here. Catholic elementary schools will give their students the application cards. Students from a non-Catholic school may print one from our website, or call the admissions office and we will mail one to you. 504.288.7626 x 229.
November 13, 2013
High School application cards are turned in to catholic elementary schools. Applicants from non-catholic schools, please send the following information to Mount Carmel Academy by Friday, November 15th:
- Application Card
- Transcripts (from 5th grade forward)
- Standardized Test results (from 5th grade forward)
- Report Card for first quarter of present year
January 11, 2014 8:00 a.m.
Students attend Application Day at Mount Carmel Academy.
January 18, 2014, January 26, 2014 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Prospective student interviews.
Skype interviews will be arranged for out of town applicants.
February 20, 2014
Letters of acceptance and non-acceptance mailed.
Incoming 10th and 11th Graders
Upperclassman Student Application
Registration of applicants who are interested in transferring from another school to Mount Carmel Academy for the tenth and eleventh grades will take place in March. Upperclassman applicants are invited to apply to Mount Carmel Academy after they receive their 2nd quarter report card.
You may print the Upperclassman Application Form and mail it to the admissions office.
Note: For the 2014–15 school year, 7th grade applicants will be able to pre-apply for 9th grade. The admissions process is the same for pre-application.
