12/05 and 12/06, 2017 The Cubs took care of two District games against John Ehret and West Jefferson. Both games ended up with a 8-0 score for the Cubs. MCA record: 12-1

12/01/17 Cubs Win the Dominican Tournament / Platinum Division.

With two wins on Saturday the Cubs found themselves in first place winning the Dominican Classic. The Cubs scored two goals against Ben Franklin (Maraldo, Galloway) to take care of business in the early morning game. Final score 2-1.
The ladies in Orange then faced the lady Lions from Lafayette, and after going down 0-1, they came back strong to score four goals to win the game with a 4-1 score. Scorers, Maddy M (2), Galloway (2). MCA record: 10-1

11/30/2017 Dominican Tournament. Playing their first game in the tournament, the Cubs faced
the host team of Dominican. After an exciting 70 minutes of back and forth action the ladies
in orange took this one by a 1-0 score.
Lone scorer of the game; Esther Lagos. MCA record: 8-1

11/28/2017 Facing the 2017 Div 2 State Champions Lakeshore High School, the Cubs got back on track taking care of the game with a 3-0 performance. Maddy Murret, Sydney Bleu, and Esther Lagos provided the scoring. MCA record 7-1
The previous evening the Junior Varsity team won against Dominican by a 2-0 score.

11/25/2017 The Cubs suffered their first loss of the season after a 2-0 performance against Acadiana.
The Cubs went down early in the first half, however after some really good chances,
they were not able to come back. On the other hand, Junior Varsity scored 5 unanswered goals
to beat Acadiana 5-0. MCA Varsity record: 6-1

On 11/21/217, the Mount Carmel Varsity and Junior Varsity teams faced Sacred Heart at
Pan Am stadium. The ladies in orange won both games by a 4-2 score for Varsity
and 2-0 for JV. MCA record 6-0

The Cubs had a busy week as the started their season with a game in Baton Rouge
against Baton Rouge Magnet,
and continued the next day with their first District game against Grace King. They finished the week with three games in Central Lafourche against E.D.White, Dutchtown, and South Terrebone.
The Cubs won all five games scoring a total of 26 goals and not allowing any.
The Cubs continue this week with games against Sacred Heart on Tuesday, Nov. 21st at 7pm,
and Acadiana on Saturday, Nov. 25th at 1pm.
Both games are scheduled at Pan Am stadium.
