Mount Carmel Academy was ranked the No. 3 school in the state on USA Today High School Sports’ 2025 list of “Best Louisiana High Schools for Athletes.” Among all girls, boys, and coeducational schools included in the statewide ranking, Mount Carmel was the highest-ranked school in the New Orleans area.
