Basketball Head Coach Jamie Thomatis celebrated her 100th win at Mount Carmel on November 18, 2020, after the Cubs defeated John Ehret. Her team presented her with flowers, signs, and other surprises after the game. Congratulations, Coach T!



Prior to taking the position of Head Basketball Coach at MCA in 2015, Coach Thomatis spent five seasons as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Davidson College in North Carolina, two years as the assistant coach at Loyola University, and three years as an assistant coach at an all-girls high school.

Coach Thomatis graduated from Middle Tennessee State in 2003, finishing her college career as the school’s second all-time leading scorer. She scored 1,971 points in her four seasons and was an All-Sun Belt selection in 2001 and 2002. She made the All-Ohio Valley Conference team in 2000 and was selected to the OVC All Freshman team in 1999.
