Student Council members were officially inducted on October 14, 2019. After a welcome from Student Council President Katie Poirier, a student-led prayer service began. Ms. Simno inducted the 2019-2020 executive board and lit the first candle of the Merchant of Light ceremony. After all the candles were lit, each student council member was inducted and presented with a pin.

Student Council members also paid tribute to Ms. Simno for National Principals Month. They presented her with flowers and cards and played a video thanking her for her dedication to the students, faculty, and staff members of MCA.
