5th and 6th graders recently visited MCA for a day of exciting, hands-on activities in the areas of science, technology, religion, engineering, art, and math. The day included creating hand-made jewelry in our Phyllis M. Taylor Maker lab, shooting rockets at targets, coding robotic mice through mazes, creating hand-made rosary bracelets, building towers from spaghetti and marshmallows, and learning about acidity in a PH chemistry experiment! It was an awesome day followed by prizes and lunch for our Future Scientists!
