Mount Carmel’s annual Mission Drive, by Christian Life Community (CLC), raised $10,403 for the Carmelite mission in Timor-Leste, the PATHS program, and the Feed Jesus program. Student representatives, one from each of Mount Carmel's religion classes, organized fundraisers for the cause. Students chose different fundraising paths such as raffles, bake sales, garage sales, etc. In the end, the student responsible for raising the most money is crowned the Mission Queen and her religion teacher is acknowledged as the Faculty Mission King or Queen. The Mission Queen's religion class is rewarded with a pizza party and the grade level with the most funds raised earns a dress down day.
