Mount Carmel Academy students earned 18 awards, 10 in Spanish and 8 in French, at the 41st Annual Foreign Language Festival! The awards included 9 first-place awards, 6 second-place awards, and 3 third-place awards. The festival, held at Southeastern Louisiana University on March 15, 2024, hosted students from all over the state of Louisiana. Students competed in extemporaneous speaking, prose, poetry, music, theatre, and native-speaker translation in both French and Spanish.
