To celebrate Ms. Simno, a 2022 CityBusiness Women of the Year honoree, students, faculty, and staff gathered for a surprise assembly on November 14. WMCA premiered a special video, Student Council Executive Board members sang and presented Ms. Simno with tokens of appreciation including a "Woman of the Year" sash, campus ministry members said the rosary, and Sister Camille Anne spoke about her immense love and admiration for Ms. Simno.

Women of the Year recognizes 50 women from the New Orleans area whose successes in business and contributions to the community have set the pace for our region's future. The honorees will be celebrated at a special event on November 14 at the New Orleans Museum of Art. A special publication spotlighting the Women of the Year will run in the November 18 issue of CityBusiness.
