Mr. Roussel’s classes enjoyed an introduction to soldering, an important skill for building electronics. The process joins two or more electrical parts together by melting a filler metal (solder) around the connection. Solder is a metal alloy, and when it cools, it creates a strong electrical bond between parts. In small groups, students worked on their new soldering skills as they assembled light-up pins.
