Sophomores in Mrs. Delbert's Social Studies classes were chosen to be some of the first students in the country to test out a new website, astartingpoint.com.  A Starting Point promotes civic engagement and a non-biased media platform for members of congress to safely state their opinions on major issues in American Government.

Four MCA students were able to directly ask questions to the ASP team and to two members of US Congress, Representative Judy Chu and Representative Dusty Johnson.

A Starting Point is a video-based civic engagement platform created by Chris Evans, Mark Kassen, and technology entrepreneur Joe Kiani. ASP’s mission is to create a bipartisan channel of communication and connectivity between Americans and their elected officials with the goal of creating a more informed electorate.
