Anatomy students explored the complexity of the brain as they dissected brains from sheep. In some ways, a sheep's brain has similar features to the human brain. Although they have fewer ridges and are much smaller – about the size of a human fist – they both have three divisions, the cerebrum, the cerebellum, and the brainstem. Students investigated as they cut into the brains, making observations about their findings of the structure and function of the brain regions.
