Mount Carmel Academy’s theme for National Arts in Education Week (September 10-14) is “What Lifts You.” Each day this week, students and faculty members will celebrate artistic learning, innovative thinking, and creativity. To kick off this special week of the arts, National Arts Honor Society members made each faculty and staff member a one-of-a-kind wing pin. Wing types include pelicans, cicadas, dragonflies, butterflies, angels, and dragons. Faculty and staff members will be wearing their wings all week in a show of support for the arts in education.
