Mount Carmel Academy homerooms, clubs, teams, and organizations donated 144 boxes filled with toys and little gifts for the Cross Catholic Box of Joy program, a nationwide Christmas gift outreach. By packing “Boxes of Joy,” students will bless children living in developing countries by sharing the joy of Christmas and demonstrating Christ’s love and compassion. These boxes may be the only Christmas gift these children receive. 

Since its inception, 512,855 Box of Joy gifts have blessed boys and girls in nine developing countries. In the 2022 Box of Joy season, 118,990 gifts were sent to children in six countries: the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Honduras, and Malawi.
