Chess Club hosted a simul, an event in which a skilled player plays numerous games simultaneously against different opponents, under the gazebo on May 1. Students set themselves up at chess boards on tables arranged in a square as Mr. Roussel rotated around playing them all at the same time.  Although it was a Chess Club event, all students were invited to join in on the fun. The club hoped to attract new members while sharing their love of the strategic game.
