Come, Lord Jesus (CLJ) is a meaningful part of Mount Carmel Academy’s campus ministry. In small groups, students gather with a faculty member, alumna, parent, or senior leader to pray, read Scripture, and reflect on its meaning in their lives. These gatherings create space for conversation, faith sharing, and spiritual growth, helping students recognize Christ’s presence in their everyday experiences.

Living the Message
Recently, Mrs. Naccari’s 8th grade CLJ group brought this reflection to life by creating a “Giving Tree.” Each student added leaves to the tree with ways they had shown — or could show — kindness in daily life. The activity offered a visual reminder that God’s love is lived out in simple, everyday actions and sparked meaningful discussion within the group.
