A group of 17 Mount Carmel students began a five-day tour of seven colleges and universities on June 10, 2019. Students will visit the campuses of Boston University, Boston College, and Northeastern University in Boston; College of the Holy Cross and Worchester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts; and Fordham University and Manhattan College in New York City.


Day Five

June 14, 2019

Students on the college tour had a great time in NYC! Sightseeing adventures took them to Rockefeller Center, FAO Schwartz, Radio City Music Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and NBC Studios.

The group visited Times Square in NYC.

 


Day Three

June 12, 2019

The group visited Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts the afternoon of June 11.

Here they are in front of the Widener Library, Harvard’s flagship library (above), and the statue of John Harvard (below).

 

They also enjoyed tasty treats from Mike's Pastry, one of the best-known Italian bakeries in the area.

Students enjoyed lunch in the dining hall at the College of the Holy Cross.

The group also took a tour of Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

June 11, 2019


MCA students visited Northeastern University in Boston on June 11, 2019. Here they are by a statue of the first Huskie mascot.
 


The group stopped by The Paul Revere House in the north end of Boston.


Day One

June 10, 2019

The group had a very early morning, but thankfully, their flights were on time and the weather was great! They spent the afternoon at Boston University and then got a tour of the back bay in Boston. After, they enjoyed a relaxing walk along the harbor before dinner. The 2019 MCA College Tour is off to a great start!
