Mrs. Naccari’s sophomore Come Lord Jesus group focused on repentance and growth at their meeting on March 20. With repentance in mind, they began to write things that pull them away from God or hold them back from their spirituality on strips of paper, which were formed into links and then connected to represent a chain.

Next, they channeled their focus in the direction of growth and renewal. They considered important questions such as, “How can I grow closer to God?” and “What can I do to renew my relationship with God?” Their answers were recorded on leaves – symbols of renewal – and attached to their homemade tree. The hands-on activity provided an opportunity for insightful reflection and fellowship.
