Eighth graders in Computer Science Fundamentals class explored the parts of a computer and tested their knowledge using Raspberry Pi, a small computer for learning and projects. After identifying parts of the mini-computers, students used Scratch, a blocks-based coding language, to bring their ideas to life, from playing sound effects to animating sprites (movable characters or graphics) and lighting up an LED display.
