In the first week of Cub Connection, incoming 8th graders got to know each other, their teachers, and their school as they navigated their new surroundings. They practiced opening their lockers, enjoyed a guided tour of campus, participated in a fast-paced scavenger hunt, and visited the Chapel for a prayer service, among other exciting activities.

In the second week, in addition to moving along in their math, English, and computer classes, students learned the Alma Mater and fight song, watched Spirit Day videos, and experienced a mini retreat together.

Students began the final week of Cub Connection by writing letters to themselves as seniors. This week, they will also learn about Come Lord Jesus, elect student council members, and ask questions to a panel of Student Ambassadors. On the last day, they will wrap up their math, English, and computer classes and decorate festive crowns in Heart of Carmel.
