Cubotics, Mount Carmel Academy’s robotics team, visited Ampirical, a leading engineering firm specializing in electrical transmission and distribution. The team demonstrated their competition robot to a group of about thirty engineers and explained the research, design, construction, and programming behind it. After the demonstration, the students toured Ampirical’s new state-of-the-art facility and heard from women in STEM, learning about exciting career opportunities. It was an excellent way for Cubotics to see engineering in action and connect with professionals in the field.
Cubotics is grateful for Ampirical’s warm welcome and encouragement as the team prepares for the FIRST World Championship in Houston April 16–19!
