Both of MCA's robotics teams competed against teams from around the region in their first state qualifying competition of the season.  Student robot drivers guided their robots, which each team built from scratch and programmed themselves, through a series of interesting challenges in timed matches against other teams. Both teams did well and impressed the judges with their presentations during their judging and interview sessions. Their next competition is on February 18 in Hammond, where they hope to qualify for regionals in March.
