The clock was already counting down when students in Food and Nutrition got a glimpse of the surprise ingredients available for “Dessert Wars.” In small groups, they worked on a plan to transform their ingredients into delicious, eye-catching desserts. Taste, creativity, and presentation were all factors taken into consideration by the official “Dessert Wars” judge, Mr. Spiess, General Manager/Chef of Mount Carmel Academy’s dining services.
