Students were invited to an afterschool Easter Engineering Project on April 12. They began by watching the documentary, “Dream Big: Engineering Our World,” which examined innovative achievements in engineering around the world. Next, they were given popsicle sticks, straws, toothpicks, and rubber bands and tasked with creating a device that could pick up a raw egg, move it, and safely place it down again. Students used their creativity to construct their “grabbers,” and successfully accomplished the goal – leaving every single egg intact.
