Forty-five MCA rising seniors were chosen as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) for the 2024-2025 school year. The group recently received specialized training led by religion teachers Mr. Delaney and Mr. Lazarine. The training primarily focused on the Theology of the Eucharist and its significance. Additionally, they covered various aspects of the Mass, including practical instruction on distributing communion at MCA.

To become an EMHC, students must first apply and then undergo an interview with a committee. Once selected, the Archbishop will assign them to serve at MCA. They can also serve at their local parishes with the pastor's permission.
