11th Grade: "The Royal Test"

12th Grade: "Live from New York, it's Senior Night"

On Friday, February 28, the big day finally arrived. For months, the entire school had been preparing for GYM DAY—a day of games and spirited fun. The day began with a mass centering on the theme of TRUST, a theme that the girls would emulate throughout all the activities of the day. After mass, the fun began as everyone watched the seniors bust through their Ragdoll banner and dance to the beat of a mixture of old and new songs and lots of laughs. Games of volleyball between classes were next, and what a competition it was! This year, some intrepid teachers competed against the MCA 8th grade team, and (despite the teachers’ best efforts) the 8th grade was victorious.

Then came the MAIN event: the eighth grade class officially introduced the Gym Day theme with a presentation called “In God We Trust.” After a coin flip, the skits began: 

9th --- “Camp Carmel”

10th --- “Panthers Roll the Dice of Trust”

11th -- “The Royal Test”

12th -- “Live from New York-- It’s Senior Night”

The class skits were followed by the junior class singing to the seniors and the seniors singing their class song. Then it was time for the teachers to take the stage with Faculty Follies. Comic relief was provided as teachers competed in a variety of entertaining games and worked ridiculously hard to help their respective grades win. This activity filled the Assembly Center with almost non-stop screaming from the girls. Then the moment of truth finally came: The Awards
