On November 19-20, Law Studies students transformed their classroom into a courtroom for a Mock Trial. Acting as attorneys, witnesses, and the presiding judge, they presented and argued the fictional case of New Columbia v. Chris Archer. The case centered on the tragic death of a college student who died during a hazing incident while joining a Greek organization. After compelling arguments and careful deliberation, the jury returned a verdict: guilty of manslaughter and hazing, with a six-year prison sentence.
