While half of the senior class was on retreat on November 8, the other half participated in the Louisiana State Capitol tour in Baton Rouge, LA. They visit the Old State Capitol, the Capitol Park Museum, and the Louisiana State Capitol. Students saw where Louisiana laws are made as well as some famous state cites that made Louisiana what it is today. Some highlights included Governor Allen’s grave, the hallway where Governor Huey P. Long was assassinated, the famous Old State Capitol stained glass dome, and the Louisiana House and Senate Chambers.
