Ninety-four Mount Carmel students — 79 with MCA and 15 with their CYO — traveled to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life on January 24, 2020. This year's theme was "Life Empowers: Pro-Life is Pro-Woman."
"It is always a wonderful blessing to see our girls find Jesus on this pilgrimage," said Mrs. Tilly, one of the chaperones on the trip. "Their reverence during adoration, benediction and the youth ministry allows them to surrender their souls to the witness of God."
Every year, tens of thousands of pro-lifers converge on the National Mall and march on Capitol Hill on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling which legalized abortion in all 50 states. It’s the largest annual human rights demonstration in the world.
