MCCADD (Mount Carmel Cubs Against Destructive Decisions) attended the science fair at St.Anthony Catholic School in Gretna.  The Cubs educated elementary and middle school students on the effects of destructive decisions, specifically drug and alcohol use.  They set up interactive stations that allowed the students to attempt to drive remote control cars and utilize fine motor skills while wearing impairment goggles that imitate the visual and cognitive effects of drugs and alcohol.  After the completion of the games, the Cubs educated them on why it became more difficult to play those games with the effect of the impairment goggles.
