Members of Mount Carmel Academy’s National Art Honor Society set up their scarecrow "Screamcrow" in the New Orleans Botanical Gardens on October 3. "Screamcrow" was inspired by expressionist artist Edvard Munch’s iconic painting, “The Scream.” 

Their scarecrow will join others as part of the annual Fall Garden Festival's Scarecrow Trail. The festival, which is open to the public, will take place on October 5 and 6. The Scarecrow Trail will be on display from October 5-October 31.
