Mount Carmel Academy is proud to recognize nine students honored through the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Lauren Fish, Sophie Kammer, Cate Milazzo, Lana Nguyen, and Claire Yoder have been named Commended Students.

They join MCA’s four previously announced National Merit Semifinalists, Paige Bono, Avery Hotstream, Caroline Hotstream, and Amielle Schell.

The National Merit Scholarship Program recognizes approximately 50,000 of the nation’s highest-scoring students each year. About 34,000 are named Commended Students, while more than 16,000 are selected as Semifinalists and continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships.

Congratulations to all nine students on this outstanding academic achievement!
