MCA art students are once again using their creativity to support a meaningful cause. After last year’s successful ornament partnership, Take Paws Rescue invited our students to create another collection of hand-painted holiday ornaments featuring beloved pets — including several cat and dog designs.

Reggie’s Art I students began the project this month, designing and painting one-of-a-kind wooden ornaments. Later this month, members of the National Art Honor Society, Junior National Art Honor Society, and PAWS Club will join the effort to help expand the collection.

Each ornament is available for a $10 donation, with all proceeds benefiting Take Paws Rescue and its mission to provide care, food, and safe shelter for animals awaiting their forever homes. Ornaments can be purchased at Take Paws adoption events or by emailing Vicki.takepawsrescue@gmail.com.
