On March 29, forty MCA students helped give back to the local community by working at Habitat for Humanity New Orleans. The students spent the day painting, decorating, and writing words of love and encouragement on the wood studs that will be placed in Habitat homes during the construction process. Before the walls are sealed with sheetrock, the new homeowners will be able to view the framing/ artwork that will be a permanent fixture inside their beautiful homes. These painted studs will be a wonderful reminder to the families blessed with these homes of the love and support that is needed to build these beautiful creations.
