Mount Carmel kicked off the excitement on September 30 with a Hunger Games-themed Pink Pep Rally celebrating our fall sports teams, including Cross Country, Swimming, and Volleyball.

Each grade represented a different district with costumes inspired by the Hunger Games: 8th Grade represented District 12: Mining; 9th Grade, District 10: Farming; Sophomores, District 4: Fishing; Juniors, District 5: Electricity; and Seniors, District 1: Luxury.

The celebration continued on October 1 as the Cubs took on Dominican in the annual Pink Game. JV/8th Grade plays at 4:30 p.m., followed by Varsity at 5:30 p.m. The event brings the MCA community together to raise awareness and funds in support of the fight against breast cancer.
