Over Christmas break, the Power Cubs brought home big wins from two powerlifting meets! At the first meet in Church Point, LA, the powerlifters were led by junior Juliet Wax, who lifted 620 pounds, earning 1st place in her division and best overall lifter! Sophomore Natalie Ricks came in 1st place in her division, with sophomore Lauren Morel finishing in 2nd. Senior Gabby White took home 2nd place with her 735-pound total. 

At their second meet, the Power Cubs traveled to Archbishop Shaw, where they competed at the Westbank Invitational. The team earned 2nd place overall, and nearly every lifter came home with medals. The following girls placed in their respective weight classes:
