Students in Ms. Collis’ Dynamics of Effective Studies classes have been working on public speaking skills. The unit wrapped up with a Design Cycle Experience (DCE) inspired by children’s literature. For their DCE, students created a presentation around the theme or moral message from a children’s book of their choosing. The project culminated with each student reading her selected book aloud to the class.
