Rhythm cheered on walkers in the Down Syndrome Association's Buddy Walk.

Mount Carmel’s Rhythm dance team cheered on walkers for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater New Orleans' annual Buddy Walk on October 6. The team enjoyed making new friends from the St. Michael Special School cheerleading team and rooted on walkers as they raised money for this great organization.

The Buddy Walk was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness. Money raised at the walk will support both local and national initiatives that benefit people with Down syndrome.
