Sister Camille Anne Campbell, O. Carm. received the 2019 Louisiana Excellence in Education Award from Cognia , formerly AdvancED, for “Leading by Example.” She was honored for her exemplary leadership in education during the Cognia Tri State Connect Conference for the Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana region at the Marriott Gulfport on February 20, 2020. The award was presented by Andre Harrison, Cognia Senior Director for Regional Services.

According to Cognia, this prestigious award recognizes Sister Camille Anne for leading and empowering her community to ensure that all learners reach their full potential; for creating and initiating change, growth, and innovation to create a world of opportunities for every learner; and for pursuing and advancing excellence in education with equity and integrity.

Nominations for this award were received from a variety of sources including volunteers, Engagement Review team members, Lead Evaluators, Field Consultants, Cognia Advisory Committee members, and staff.

Cognia is a non-profit continuous improvement organization that conducts rigorous, on-site reviews of a variety of educational institutions and provides resources, tools, and support to education leaders across the globe to ensure all learners realize their full potential.
