Mount Carmel Academy’s soccer team was celebrated with a Ring Ceremony on June 18, 2025, in the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary. During the celebration, Father Michael Lamy blessed the rings, commemorating the team’s 2025 LHSAA Division I State Championship. The ceremony recognized the athletes’ hard work, dedication, and teamwork that led to their 2–0 victory over C.E. Byrd in February. This championship marks the program’s eighth state title and first since 2021.
