Four Mount Carmel students were chosen as recipients for the St. Timothy Award. The annual award is given by the CYO/Youth and Young Adult Ministry to 23 teenagers for their volunteer service to their church, school, and community. Archbishop Gregory Aymond presented the awards at the CYO’s 59th Annual Leadership Celebration on July 11 at Divine Mercy Church in Kenner. This award is the highest honor a teenager can receive in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
