STK dazzled audiences – and judges – with their theatrical performances and behind-the-scenes talents at LA Thes Fest, the annual state thespian festival held January 21-22 in Natchitoches.

Their One-Act, "Shakespeare, Clearly: A Midsummer Night's Dream," was chosen to represent Louisiana as the Chapter Select at the International Thespian Festival June 20-24, 2022, at Indiana University.

STK's Group Musical Theatre was named the State Champion and selected for the main stage in the final showcase. The performance was choreographed by Maddie Maurin and performed by Regan Nugent, Emily Oliver, Maddie Maurin, Rhyan-Grace Hebert, Savannah Fouchi, Meredith Falk-Charbonnett, Casey Swanson, Molly Martinez, Elise Fairchild, Helen Morlier, Anna Grenrood.

Ellie Bono and Abby Nastasi were the Duet Musical Theatre State Champions, and their performance was selected to be on the main stage in the final showcase.

Amy Gegenheimer was the State Champion in Technical Theatre Design and was recognized on the main stage at the final showcase.

Claire Schenck received the 2nd Place Performance Scholarship.

Officers: Rhyan-Grace Hebert served as the State Thespian Officer Chair, and Taylor Davis was elected to the State Thespian Officer Board for the 2023 Festival.
