Mount Carmel's newly elected Student Council executive officers attended the Louisiana Association of Student Councils (LASC) workshop at Northwestern University in Natchitoches June 2-6. The event, themed "LASC Your Greatest Adventure," gathered 340 high school students from across the state for leadership development, education, and fun. Participants learned about running successful meetings, achieving goals, and developing leadership skills. 

The 2024-2025 Executive Board members are Mia Peppo, president; Millie McDaniel, vice-president; Madison Scalise, secretary; Reese Clouatre, treasurer; Sara Barfield, artist chairlady; and Addison Clark, member-at-large chairlady.
