TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science) is a prestigious STEM competition where students tackle real-world engineering challenges through collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. This year’s challenge required students to design and prototype a stilt dwelling capable of withstanding hurricane-force winds.

MCA students, working in small grade-level teams, rose to the challenge. Congratulations to the following teams:

  • 8th Grade, Group B – 1st in State
  • 8th Grade, Group A – 2nd in State
  • 12th Grade – 2nd in State
  • 11th Grade – 3rd in State
  • 10th Grade – 4th in State
  • 9th Grade – 5th in State
