Congratulations to The MCA Golf Cubs, Kaylee Dufrene, Addison Ferreras and Abigail Wilson, who tied for 4th in Regionals led by Abigail Wilson with an 84 overall. To determine the Top 4 teams to go to State, MCA had a sudden death playoff with Northshore High School and played 5 holes where Northshore edged out a win.

Although MCA did not make it as a team to State, Abigail Wilson, qualified as an individual after winning a sudden death play off in one hole. She finished in the top 30 in the State of Louisianna as freshman. This is her second year qualifiying for State! Congratulations, Abby!

The Golf Cubs are dominating the season winning 3 matches against Dominican and Chapelle and one match against Academy of the Sacred Heart. District will be Wednesday, April 10 at Timberlane Golf and Recreation Course. Regionals will be Tuesday, April 23 at Beaver Creek Golf Course in Zachary, LA

Golf practices are on Tuesdays after school at City Park after school and on Wednesday's at Timberlane.
