2024 Season
Varsity - 9/18
Congratulations to our Varsity Swim Team on their first meet and first victory of the season! Some top swimmers include: Madeline Olivard in the 50 Yard Freestyle, Bria Flynn in the 200 Yard IM, and Victoria Rice in 100 Yard Butterfly. The whole team swam like champions and we couldn't be prouder. Go Cubs!
8th Grade - 9/21
Congratulations to our 8th Grade Swim Team for their first meet and first victory of the season! Some top swimmers include: Olivia Roberts in the 50 Yard Freestyle, Libby Daigle in the 50 Yard Backstroke, and Gretchen Schoenfeld in the 100 Yard IM. All of our girls swam their hearts out and made MCA proud. Go Cubs!
8th Grade - 9/26
Congratulations to our 8th Grade Swim Team on their second victory in a row at St. Martin's! The team was led to victory by swimmers including: Mackenzie Gaye in the 50 Yard Freestyle, Sophie Bertucci in the 50 Yard Butterfly, and Mia Ritter in the 50 Yard Breaststroke. Great job to the whole team, we are SO proud of you! Go Cubs!
Varsity - 9/28
Great job to our Varsity Swim Team for an awesome showing at the Crawfish Aquatics Invitational Meet! Our team was led by top swimmers including: Ellen Grenrood in the 200 Yard Freestyle, Corinne Lerch in the 500 Yard Freestyle, and Zoey Reid in the 100 Yard Backstroke. Congrats to the whole team for swimming like champions. Go Cubs!
Varsity - 10/1
Great job to our Varsity Swim Team at St. Martin's against Dominican. The team was led by top swimmers including: Josephine Balhoff, Skila Hoffield, Victoria Rice, and Madeline Olivard in the 200 Yard Medley Relay, and Corinne Lerch in the 500 Yard Freestyle. Though our Cubs didn't walk away with the win, the team still swam like champions. Go Cubs!
8th Grade - 10/5
Congratulations to our 8th Grade Swim Team on another clean victory at Newman! The team was led by top swimmers including: Olivia Roberts in the 100 Yard Freestyle, Gretchen Schoenfeld in the 50 Yard Breaststroke, and Sophie Bertucci in the 100 Yard IM. All of our girls walked away with incredible times and made MCA proud. Go Cubs!
Varsity - 10/9
Congratulations to our Varsity Swim Team on a victory over Chapelle, Cabrini, and Ursuline! Our team made MCA proud and was led by top swimmers including: Emily Lock in the 200 Yard Freestyle, Cecilia Gutierrez in the 100 Yard Backstroke, and Brenna Fassbender in the 50 Yard Freestyle. Great job to the whole team on another successful meet! Go Cubs!

The team was led by top swimmers including: Mackenzie Gaye in the 100 Yard Backstroke, and Olivia Roberts, Sophie Bertucci, Gretchen Schoenfeld, and Mia Ritter in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. The team was led by top swimmers including: Bria Flynn in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, and Sofia Giarrusso, Sadie Thieneman, Kelsey Minyard, and Ellen Grenrood in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. 8th Grade - 10/19
One final congratulations to our 8th Grade Swim Team on becoming the New Orleans Metro Middle School Division Champions! The team was led by all swimmers including: Sophie Bertucci, Libby Daigle, Mackenzie Gaye, Mia Ritter, Olivia Roberts, and Gretchen Schoenfeld. Our Cubs all competed like pros and cut their swim times one after another and we couldn't be prouder! Go Cubs!

The team was led by top swimmers including: Rebecca Vindel in the 200 Yard IM, Skila Hoffield in the 100 Yard Backstroke, and Shelby Salles in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. Varsity - 10/30
Congratulations to our Varsity Swim Team on a 2nd place finish at their District Meet! The team swam fast and we honored our awesome seniors including: Captains Ellen Grenrood and Sofia Giarrusso, Kelsey Minyard, Shelby Salles, and Sadie Thieneman. We are so proud of the whole District team and can't wait for our upcoming Metro Meet this weekend! Go Cubs!
Varsity - 11/1 & 11/2

Varsity - 11/22 & 11/23
Congratulations to our State Swim Team on placing 3rd overall in Division 1 over the Thanksgiving Break! Our whole team swam like absolute champions including Skila Hoffield, Ellen Grenrood, Victoria Rice, and Madeline Olivard, who broke a school record for the 400 Freestyle Relay! Other top swimmers include: Corinne Lerch in the 500 Yard Freestyle and Sofia Giarrusso in the 100 Yard Freestyle. Congrats again to the whole Swim Team on yet another incredible season, we are SO proud of you! Go Cubs!
