Mount Carmel Academy students enjoy a wide-variety of delicious lunch options from Pigeon Caterers. With a focus on fresh and local products, Pigeon offers a home-style menu, gourmet menu, homemade soups, wraps made daily, a salad bar with garden-fresh produce and house-made salad dressings, and much more. Students may dine in the Louviere Dining Center, Café Campbell, or choose a cozy spot outside.

Pigeon Catering and Mount Carmel Academy have teamed up with Eat Fit NOLA to provide students with more nutritious meal and snack offerings. 

These menu items are designed to:

  • nourish growing bodies
  • boost brain function
  • increase focus

Dining Options

Home-style Station

Enjoy southern, homemade meals such as braised beef and mashed potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, and chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese.

Gourmet Station

You will find meals made fresh daily, such as southwest chicken pasta, Salisbury steak, and brunch for lunch.

The Green Space

Choose your lettuce and load up your salad with toppings like cucumbers, tomatoes, and chicken. Pair your salad with hummus, tuna salad, or chicken salad.

Pizza Station

Grap pizza by the slice with traditional or gourmet toppings like Greek and chicken pesto.

Soup of the Day / Baked Potatoes, Nachos & More

Each day, chefs prepare a soup du jour from scratch. Other options include baked potato or nacho bars with toppings of your choice.

Café Campbell

Just across the hall from the Louviere Dining Center is Café Campbell, the perfect spot to grab a coffee or ready-to-go wrap. Café Campbell serves New Orleans Roast iced, frozen, and hot coffee; teas; lemonades; fruit smoothies; green smothies; fresh baked goods; and more.

Eat Fit NOLA

Each day, students have the option of choosing healthy meals and snacks from our Eat Fit menu. 

The Eat Fit criteria is simple:

  • Low in animal fat
  • Low in added sugar
  • Lower in sodium
  • No white carbohydrates
